How We Work

We combine the conventional ways of executing tasks with a strong reliance on technological and IT infrastructure that is regularly upgraded to meet industry standards for specialized legal work.

Our four phase methodology is a template, it is adapted to each client’s circumstances and needs:

Scoping Session

The project commences with an initial scoping session with the following objectives:

  • Ensuring that BR Attorneys understand the client’s business and requirements accordingly.
    • In particular the service level agreement governing the relationship.
  • Guaranteeing that all deliverables and expectations are documented and understood.
  • Agreeing on the implementation timelines for different focus areas, the approach as well as specific resources required.
  • Establishing key contact points and a communication process for implementation.
  • Understanding the client’s priorities for implementation. Articulating problem escalation procedures

Legal Opinion

The second phase provides legal opinion that addresses the following:

  • Analysis of the facts of the matter.
  • Analysis of the legal position to which the facts relate.
  • Exploration of alternative course/s of action and/or strategy.
  • Understanding of risks documentation, rating and defining mitigation actions.
  • Recommended approach to client and motives.
  • Assessments of prospects of success.
  • Estimated duration and costs

Execute

After the legal opinion referred to above and the agreed course of action, the execution process commences At this point, the senior attorney often meets the individual assigned by the client to report on the progress of the project and to highlight any risks and any deviations from the plan of action if applicable Continuous reporting to client is not an option

Close-out

On completion of the implementation process, feedback is encouraged from client. Client is requested to complete a post execution survey and provide the final sign off.
