Baitseng is an admitted Attorney of the High Court of South Africa with a master’s degree in Intellectual Property. She has been in practice for over 23 years, 20 of which she dedicated to working at Maponya Inc. in various positions, with the last position being a Co-Chairperson. She is the founder of BR Rangata Attorneys, a law firm registered in November 2021.

She serves the profession as a member of the Gauteng Provincial Council for the period 2022 to 2024. A member of the Black Lawyers Association and South African Women Lawyers’ Association, advocating for social justice and skills transfer.

She serviced clients, amongst others, SARS, Railway Safety Regulator Eskom and the State Capture Commission. She chaired some of the Board of Inquiry for RSR as well as Eskom. She specializes in Commercial Litigation, Administrative law, forensic investigation and employment law. She was part of the team that worked at the State Capture Commission, reporting directly to the Chairperson of the commission. She is currently representing the State Capture Commission in the review applications brought against the report.

She is passionate about training and skills transfer. She trained over 50 Candidate Attorneys and is continuing to do so. The firm has created an environment to accommodate school graduates and final-year law students to be mentored.

The focus is to keep a balance between running a business and making a positive contribution to society.
